The Exposome
In this module, you’ll learn how to analyze the elements making up the sum total of environmental exposure and how to address them in the plan of care. You’ll receive focused content on lifestyle modifications in the domains of relationships, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and substance use.
Objectives:
- Develop a method for examining lifestyle factors for the purpose of analysis and treatment plan integration.
- Apply advanced methods for promoting and supporting behavioral change interventions.
- Explore the impact of relationships and strategies for strengthening, optimizing, and repairing relationships.
- Examine nutritional factors that impact mental health and overall wellbeing and explore interventions to improve upon dietary and nutritional health in an effective and organized way.
- Analyze sleep quality and findings suggestive of sleep abnormality and construct an advanced diagnostic and treatment plan to improve sleep.
- Explore the impact of substance use and explore an integrative approach to addiction.
- Apply an understanding of the neuroscience of spirituality and behavioral transformation to the development of an individual and personalized plan of care.
- Explore the neuroscience and practical implications of psychedelics in the integrative plan of care.

The WeLLNESS model is a model and acronym I've designed to organize considerations for lifestyle intervention. In this lecture, you'll be given a brief overview of the model in order to organize your approach as you move through this module.
